| Description: | Pepstatin Trifluoroacetate (Pepstatin A Trifluoroacetate) is a specificaspartic proteaseinhibitor produced by actinomycetes, with IC50s of 4.5nM, 6.2nM, 150nM, 290nM, 520nM and 260nM for hemoglobin-pepsin, hemoglobin-proctase, casein-pepsin, casein-proctase, casein-acid protease and hemoglobin-acid protease, respectively. Pepstatin Ammonium also inhibits HIV protease. |
