| Description: | Tectol, isolated fromLippia sidoides, exhibits significant activity against human leukemia cell lines HL60 and CEM. Tectol is afarnesyltransferase (FTase)inhibitor with IC50s of 2.09 and 1.73μM for human and T. bruceiFTase, respectively. Tectol inhibits drug-resistant strain ofP. falciparum(FcB1) with an IC50 of 3.44μM. |
