| Description: | Diphyllin is an arylnaphthalene lignan isolated fromJusticia procumbens and is a potentHIV-1inhibitor with an IC50 of 0.38μM. Diphyllin is active againstvesicular stomatitis virus (VSV) and influenza virus. Diphyllin is avacuolar type H+-ATPase (V-ATPase)inhibitor with an IC50 value of 17nM and inhibits lysosomal acidification in human osteoclasts. Diphyllin inhibitsNOproduction with an IC50 of 50μM and has anticancer and anti-inflammatory activities. |
