| Description: | Actinonin ((-)-Actinonin) is a naturally occurring antibacterial agent produced byActinomyces. Actinonin inhibitsaminopeptidase M,aminopeptidase N and leucine aminopeptidase. Actinonin is a potent reversiblepeptide deformylase (PDF)inhibitor with a Ki of 0.28nM. Actinonin also inhibitsMMP-1,MMP-3,MMP-8,MMP-9, and hmeprin αwith Ki values of 300nM, 1,700nM, 190nM, 330nM, and 20nM, respectively. Actinonin is anapoptosisinducer. Actinonin has antiproliferative and antitumor activities . |
