| Description: | Methylnissolin (Astrapterocarpan), isolated fromAstragalus membranaceus, inhibitsplatelet-derived growth factor (PDGF)-BB-induced cell proliferation with an IC50 of 10μM. Methylnissolin inhibits PDGF-BB-induced phosphorylation of extracellular signal-regulated kinase 1/2 (ERIC1/2) mitogen-activated protein (MAP) kinase. Methylnissolin inhibits PDGF-BB-induced vascular smooth muscle cell proliferation by inhibition of theERK1/2MAP kinase cascade. |
